My love and awareness of nature was nurtured during my upbringing on a family farm. I appreciate difference and find quirks of nature fascinating.

My work is unique because it reflects my knowledge and understanding of the power of listening with acuity. Listening is critical, and underpins spoken language acquisition. It is known that a strong oral language base is directly linked to later success in developing literacy.
I enjoy thinking creatively and hope to produce more innovative resources that develop enhanced listening and speaking. These are the foundations for literacy and will put children on the path to being the best they can be.
